Website and Music Video Links + Analysis

This post will give our target audience the links to easily navigate through our various ancillary tasks that are located on the internet; we believe that by doing this we easily gain exposure due to the use of modern technology that is readily accessible.

Prior to our band website, I have updated the navigation tool on the right hand side-bar by linking our social media accounts across applications such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. The implementation of this strategy highlights the reach-ability we can achieve whilst attracting our target audience which we have concluded are frequent social media users.


In contrast, with the use of Wix's editorial software, adding and linking our social media links is very simplistic and easy to use. Below are images in how we linked each social media account for our band.



However on the website our first draft of the music video is located on the 'video' in the navigation toolbar located at the top of the website, due to the free membership that we are implementing the payed membership halts our alteration in changing the music video due to limitations such as only allowing us to upload a lower amount of data.

Evaluation Question 3

The purpose of this post is to display the link to the YouTube video which portrays my explanation and research into evaluation question 3. For this question I decided to implement the use of a voice over on top of a video that entails many images and gifs; to produce this technique I recorded the audio on my phone and then transferred the voice recordings into Sony Vegas. After this I imported many images and gifs from google images and then later compressed the video into a mp4; as a result of this conversion I could easily import my condensed video and publish it onto YouTube. This application easily displays my video due to YouTube's ease of accessibility thus making the viewing from the moderator very easy and effective. In contrast to the use of gifs, these offer a more interesting viewing point for the audience and examiner, thus adding to the overall professionalism and creativity. Reflection of second shoot

By far, this shooting day was the most productive and well-planned session that we have conducted after school and in lesson time. Due to the past events, we decided to introduce more green screen skills and techniques in our final product, thus impacting the overall professionalism and creative intentions that we aimed for previously. The professional lights helps create a high definition impact to the overall quality of our pictures and videos that we have captured. I was luckily allowed to film on an Iphone 8 which has a very high quality camera which we decided to use for the main camera in our music video. Furthermore, the sound proofing of the green screen room dramatically improves the sound quality by blocking and preventing other sounds entering our video and helping us achieve our intentions of creating a highly professional music video whilst being on a very low budget.
